  • SUG PRESIDENT URGES STUDENTS TO BE LAW ABIDING AS THE UNION WORKS TOWARDS NORMALIZING THINGS



    Students of Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri have an enviable reputation as peace loving scholars in the country, hence, that shouldn't change now, despite the present circumstances.


     Students should endeavour to remain calm, expect things to come back to normal soon and endeavour to shun revolt or violence.



    His Excellency, Comrade Ambassador Ezeh Chukwuebuka Ebenezer, Students Union Government, SUG President appeals to every student who is aggrieved by the situation on ground to be at ease and be law abiding.



    It is really unfortunate that things panned out this way but be rest assured that the SUG ably led by the President is working round the clock to ensure that things get back to normal.



    Therefore, every students should heed to the directives of the school management at this point in time. This latest memo was prompted by the unrest in school which if not properly handled might escalate to a feared unknown. However, to be on a safer side, Students should vacate as directed.
    It is a known fact that economy of the country is currently unstable, but as a matter of necessity, His Excelleny is also appealing to every student to pay their school fees during this festive period.



    Also be in the know that the ongoing examinations of the National Diploma, ND1 and Higher National Diploma, HND1 were suspended and not cancelled as speculations have it already. It was postponed till further notice.


    As we celebrate this festive season, joy and happiness will be lasting in our respective homes. Merry Christmas and happy new year in advance.
